【学术交流】应梁元可教授邀请,郑仕伟博士、官颖博士来校作学术报告[Academic Exchange] At the invitation of Professor Liang Yuanke, Dr. Zheng Shiwei and Dr. Guan Ying came to our school to give academic talks

2026年7月14日下午,受我校梁元可教授邀请,德国波茨坦大学博士候选人郑仕伟、南京农业大学博士后官颖走进西南科技大学东九B2-21会议室,为智能微生态与生物制造实验室师生带来两场前沿学术报告。报告会由蔡元萍教授等组织,实验室师生到场聆听并展开交流。

郑仕伟博士长期致力于植物发育与胁迫应答的表观遗传调控研究。在报告中,他系统介绍了高温胁迫对植物花药发育的影响,并围绕拟南芥绒毡层细胞发育的表观遗传机制,分享了DNA甲基化、染色质开放性等方向的研究进展,以及ChIP-seq、CUT&Tag、ATAC-seq等技术在其中的应用。郑博士近五年以第一/共同第一作者在 Nature Communications 等期刊发表SCI论文3篇。

官颖博士聚焦植物–微生物互作与根际微生物组研究。她以根际微生物分泌物对作物生长与抗逆的影响为主题,介绍了环境胁迫在细菌–植物互作中的功能探索,以及根际微生物组调控作物抗逆的相关进展。官博士现主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、国家重点研发计划子课题等多个项目,以第一/通讯作者发表论文5篇,代表作见于 Advanced Science、mSphere 等期刊,并入选国家"启明计划"、江苏省"卓越博士后"等人才计划。

两场报告结束后,现场师生围绕表观遗传调控、根际微生物应用等话题与报告人进行了深入交流。此次报告会为实验室师生了解植物表观遗传与微生物互作领域的前沿动态提供了良好的学术平台。

On the afternoon of July 14, 2026, invited by Professor Liang Yuanke from our university, PhD candidate Zheng Shiwei from the University of Potsdam, Germany, and postdoctoral researcher Guan Ying from Nanjing Agricultural University visited the East 9 B2-21 conference room at Southwest University of Science and Technology, giving two cutting-edge academic talks to the teachers and students of the Intelligent Microecology and Biomanufacturing Laboratory. The session was organized by Professor Cai Yuanping and others, and the lab faculty and students attended and engaged in discussions.

Dr. Zheng Shiwei has long been dedicated to studying the epigenetic regulation of plant development and stress responses. In his talk, he systematically introduced the effects of high-temperature stress on anther development in plants and shared research progress on epigenetic mechanisms involved in the development of trichome cells in Arabidopsis, focusing on DNA methylation, chromatin accessibility, etc., as well as the application of techniques like ChIP-seq, CUT&Tag, and ATAC-seq. Over the past five years, Dr. Zheng has published three SCI papers as the first or co-first author in journals such as Nature Communications.

Dr. Guan Ying focuses on plant–microbe interactions and the rhizosphere microbiome. She presented on the effects of rhizosphere microbial secretions on crop growth and stress resistance, discussing the roles of environmental stress in bacterial–plant interactions and recent progress in rhizosphere microbiome regulation of crop resilience. Dr. Guan currently leads multiple projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund and subprojects of the National Key R&D Program, has published five papers as first or corresponding author in journals such as Advanced Science and mSphere, and has been selected for talent programs like the national "Qiming Plan" and Jiangsu Province "Outstanding Postdoctoral" program.

After the talks, attendees engaged with the speakers in in-depth discussions on topics such as epigenetic regulation and rhizosphere microbial applications. This seminar provided an excellent academic platform for the lab’s faculty and students to learn about the latest developments in plant epigenetics and microbial interactions.
