2026年8月14日至18日，第十四届亚洲玉米大会在四川成都成功举办。作为亚洲玉米领域规模最大、规格最高、影响力最广的学术与产业交流平台，本届大会以“推动科技创新，应对气候变化”为主题，吸引了来自32个国家和地区的770余名代表齐聚蓉城，其中外国专家多达120余人。这也是亚洲玉米大会时隔15年再度落地中国，并首次落地四川。
From August 14th to 18th, 2026, the 14th Asian Corn Conference was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. As the largest, most prestigious and most influential academic and industrial exchange platform in the field of corn in Asia, this conference, with the theme of "Promoting Technological Innovation and Responding to Climate Change", attracted 770 representatives from 32 countries and regions to gather in Chengdu. Among them, there were as many as 120 foreign experts. This was also the 15th time that the Asian Corn Conference had returned to China and the first time it had been held in Sichuan Province.
一、开幕式：凝聚亚洲共识，共筑粮食安全防线
8月15日上午，大会在成都锦江宾馆隆重开幕。开幕式由大会组委会主席、中国农业科学院副院长孙坦主持。中国农业科学院党组书记杨振海出席并致辞。他指出，中国是亚洲最大的玉米生产和消费国，中国农科院持续深耕种质资源挖掘、育种技术革新、高产栽培模式示范，有力支撑了我国玉米产业高质量发展。其中，“玉米密植高产精准调控技术”已在国内多地打造百万亩吨粮田示范区，实现大面积增产增收。面对日益严峻的全球性挑战，杨振海提出三点倡议：共筑种质资源与科技创新两大基石，建立覆盖全亚洲的种质资源协作网络；共推具备气候韧性的绿色可持续生产体系，推动亚洲玉米生产向“气候智慧型”转型；共建开放包容的亚洲玉米协作共同体，深化科技、产业、贸易、政策全链条协同。
I. Opening Ceremony: Uniting Asian Consensus, Building a Barrier for Food Security
On the morning of August 15th, the conference was grandly opened at the Jinjiang Hotel in Chengdu. The opening ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, Sun Tan, the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The Party Secretary of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Yang Zhenhai, attended and delivered a speech. He pointed out that China is the largest corn producer and consumer in Asia. The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences has continuously deepened the exploration of germplasm resources, technological innovation in breeding, and demonstration of high-yield cultivation models, effectively supporting the high-quality development of China's corn industry. Among them, the "Precision Control Technology for Dense Corn Planting for High Yield" has created million-hectare grain-per-ton demonstration areas in many regions across the country, achieving large-scale increase in production and income. Facing increasingly severe global challenges, Yang Zhenhai put forward three initiatives: jointly building two cornerstones of germplasm resources and scientific and technological innovation, establishing a germplasm resource collaboration network covering the entire Asia; jointly promoting a climate-resilient green sustainable production system, promoting the transformation of Asian corn production to "climate-smart" mode; jointly building an open and inclusive Asian corn collaboration community, deepening full-chain collaboration in science and technology, industry, trade, and policy.
二、学术盛宴：11大议题、125场报告，覆盖全产业链
大会设置了大会主旨报告、11个专题分会、墙报展示、企业创新论坛等多种交流形式。共安排主旨报告13个、专题论坛11个、学术报告125个，收集论文摘要269篇、墙报122张。议题覆盖种质资源、生物育种、智慧农业、绿色生产、产业政策等11个专题领域。
II. Academic Feast: 11 Major Topics, 125 Presentations, Covering the Entire Industry Chain
The conference featured various forms of communication, including keynote speeches, 11 thematic sessions, poster presentations, and enterprise innovation forums. A total of 13 keynote speeches, 11 thematic forums, and 125 academic presentations were arranged. 269 abstracts and 122 posters were collected. The topics covered 11 specialized fields such as germplasm resources, biotechnology breeding, smart agriculture, green production, and industrial policies.

第十四届亚洲玉米大会主题鲜明、成果丰硕。来自32个国家和地区的770余名代表围绕气候变化应对、种质资源创新、生物育种突破等核心议题展开了深度交流与思想碰撞，达成了广泛共识。正如杨振海书记所言：“独行快，众行远。面对日益严峻的全球性挑战，任何一个国家都无法独自应对。亚洲玉米产业的未来，在于开放、协作与共享。”
以本次大会为新起点，亚洲各国将在玉米科技与产业领域深化合作，共同书写区域粮食安全合作的新篇章。

The 14th Asian Corn Conference had a clear theme and achieved remarkable results. Over 770 representatives from 32 countries and regions engaged in in-depth exchanges and ideological clashes on core topics such as climate change response, germplasm resource innovation, and breakthroughs in biotechnology breeding, and reached broad consensus. As Secretary Yang Zhenhai said, "Going alone is fast, but moving together is far. Facing increasingly severe global challenges, no single country can handle them alone. The future of the Asian corn industry lies in openness, collaboration, and sharing."
Building on this conference as a new starting point, Asian countries will deepen cooperation in corn science and industry, jointly writing a new chapter in regional food security cooperation.
